Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Yusuf has been evicted from the “Show Ya Sef” house during the Week 8 live eviction show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
His eviction was announced on Sunday during the Week 8 live eviction show hosted by popular television presenter, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Yusuf was among the 11 housemates placed up for possible eviction this week after the nomination process.
The other housemate exposed to the public vote were Chimsom Chuka, Sheba, Tram, Bells, Temi Nkem, Ricky, Bluethopia, Oyin, Flora and Keivo.
The Week 8 eviction process followed Barry’s victory in the Head of House challenge, which earned him immunity, the Ultimate Veto Power and an automatic place in the finale.
Barry subsequently used his veto power to save Aikou from possible eviction, leaving the 11 housemate to depend on the viewers’ votes to remain in the competition.
Yusuf had featured prominently in the house throughout the season, with his relationships and interactions with fellow housemates forming part of the show’s storylines.
In the final days before his eviction, Yusuf was involved in conversations with several housemates, including Oyin and Bells.
On Day 53, Oyin confronted Yusuf over comments she felt misrepresented her interaction with Tram, while Bells also had conversations with him as tensions continued to develop in the house.
On Saturday, Yusuf was also among the housemates who participated in the Saturday Night Link-Up party before the house prepared for Sunday’s eviction show.
His eviction brings an end to his journey in the Season 11 competition, which premiered on July 26 with 24 housemate competing for the ₦160 million grand prize.
The remaining housemate will continue their battle for places in the finale as the reality show enters its final weeks.
