Five former governors have been included in the fresh list of 19 ministerial nominees forwarded to the Senate by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday.
The former governors are Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Simon Lalong (Plateau) and Ibrahim Geidam (Yobe).
The list of the nominees was ready by the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio on the floor of the Upper Chamber on Wednesday after the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila presented the list.
The president had last week presented the first list of 28 nominees which had already undergone screening by the lawmakers.
