The President, deeply moved by the heartbreaking incident, expressed his condolences to grieving families who lost their loved ones in the disaster.
“President Tinubu has directed that all injured victims receive top-priority treatment at medical facilities across the capital city,” a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed.
Determined to prevent future tragedies, the President has instructed security agencies, particularly those overseeing road safety, to intensify monitoring of traffic flow at Abuja’s entry and exit points.
His firm directive underscores the urgency of addressing lapses that might have contributed to the catastrophic explosion.
As the nation mourns, President Tinubu offered prayers for the souls of the departed and sought divine comfort for their grieving families.
