The much-awaited Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 8 reality show will begin on Sunday, July 23, according to the organisers of the show.
This year’s BBNaija is tagged ‘All Stars.’ Participants will be selected from previous reality shows to view for the top prize.
The reality show will premiere at 7 pm on Africa Magic Showcase (Ch. 151), Africa Magic Urban (Ch 153) and Africa Magic Family (ch 154). The show will continue to air for ten weeks on the 24-hour Big Brother dedicated channel, DStv ch. 198 and GOtv ch. 29.
According to MultiChoice Nigeria, the organiser of the reality show, the ‘All Stars’ edition would feature carefully selected housemates and fan favourites from previous editions of the show.
It said fans could expect a line-up of exciting and engaging tasks, unpredictable twists and turns, including fan-favourite ‘Ninjas’, a live studio audience, engaging tasks, unpredictable twists and turns.
The organiser added that this season would also include the famous pool and grill party and the Saturday Night Raves.
Dr Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria, said they are excited to bring to the public refreshed season of Big Brother Naija, saying that MoniePoint is coming on board as this season’s headline sponsor.
She added that in addition, the show is staying true to its reputation of having the biggest cash prize for any reality competition on the continent.
Last year’s Season 7 edition was won by Phyna who carted home the star prize of N1oo million.
