The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) says Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, popularly known as Jnr Pope, is not dead, but alive and receiving treatment.
The have been rumours that the actor and three others died in a boat mishap at the Anam River in Anambra State while on their way to a shooting location.
The Alarmee reports that rumours of Pope Junior’s death has spread on social media, with many mourning his supposed demise.
But the AGN in an Instagram post on Wednesday night debunked the rumours of his death.
“Junior Pope is alive. He is taking treatment in the hospital,” the AGN said in the post.
