The Lagos Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has upheld Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s victory in the state’s March 18 governorship election.
The Justice Arum Ashom-led panel unanimously dismissed the petition filed by the Labour Party’s candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour against the election of Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Kadri Hamzat.
The tribunal held that the petition of Rhodes-Vivour lacked merit.
Earlier, the Tribunal had dismissed the petitions filed by the PDP’s candidate, Olajide Adediran, known as Jandor.
