Tragedy has hit the family of popular Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid as his mother died on Friday morning.
Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, Wizkid‘s mother was said to have died around 1.30 am on Friday.
The singer’s longtime manager , Sunday Are confirmed the incident on Friday.
Are, when asked about the matter said, “Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am.”
The late Mrs. Balogun is also the mother to two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
The Alarmee reports that Wizkid is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. A prominent figure in the modern-day Afrobeats music scene, Wizkid is regarded as one of the biggest and most influential African artists of all time.
