Lagos socialite, Farida Sobowale has attempted to jump into the Lagos Lagoon from Third Mainland Bridge to commit suicide before she was rescued.
A trending video showed how the woman was rescued by Good Samaritans who came before she could plunge into the Lagoon on Thursday in Lagos.

It was gathered that the woman wanted to kill herself after her N100 million marriage bash hit the rock within two months.
Sobowale said her friends and families warned her not to go into the marriage, as they told her that the man only wanted her money, but that she was recalcitrant.
She added that it was love that pushed her into this, as the man told her that he was going to be with her, make her bear children for him.
Sobowale said she was so sorry for putting her children in such a position, saying that she would not have forgiven herself if she had abandoned them after committing suicide.
The Alarmee reports that Sobowale said she had forgiven her ex-husband, asking God to provide him with another wife.
