A suicidal man on Tuesday jumped into the Lagos Lagoon from from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge.
The unidentified man, who scaled into the water in the afternoon is believed to be dead, but emergency responders are searching to rescue him if he is still alive.
Operatives of the Nigerian police are at the scene trying to control the crowd to pave way for rescuers to begin search and rescue.
Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said his team and that of the Marine police were on ground t begin search and rescue operation.
