President Bola Tinubu will today address Nigerians through a live nationwide broadcast by 7.00pm on what his government is doing to curtail the current hardship the masses are facing.
This is contained in a statement issued by Dele Alake, Special Adviser to the President, (Special duties, Communications & Strategy) on Monday.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a broadcast to the nation on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 7 pm,” Alake said.
Alake added that television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.
Nigerians have been undergoing serious hardship since the fuel subsidy was removed by Tinubu in May, with the price of fuel having gone up twice.
The prices of goods and services have soared nationwide. The government has promised palliatives to cushion the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy.
