Torrential rainfall at killed a minor and injured 20 people at Tsohon Garin Nangere, Nangere Local Government Area of Yobe State on Friday.
The Alarmee gathered that the heavy downpour, accompanied by wind killed the seven-year-old boy in the early hours of the day.
At least, 50 houses and shops were said to have been destroyed by the torrential rain, according to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
The incident occurred at 9.00am when residents were out going about their daily activities.
