The Supreme Court will deliver judgment in the appeal filed by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and the former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi against the election of President Bola Tinubu on Thursday.
Atiku, the PDP’s presidential candidate and Obi, Labour Party’s presidential candidate went to the Supreme Court after the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal nullified their petitions.
The Apex court heard their cases on Monday and promised to get back to them on the judgment.
However, the Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Festus Akande, said on Wednesday that the court would deliver judgment on Thursday.
He said the court had already communicated to the various parties about the decision to deliver judgment on Thursday.
“Tomorrow, Thursday, has been fixed for the judgment on the appeals brought by Atiku and Peter Obi,” he told The Punch in a phone call.
