Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu on Thursday approved the appointment of eight new Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) for Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale the appointments are with immediate effect.
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) now has as its Director-General / CEO, Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu; Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), has as its Director-General / CEO, Mr. Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos.
The new Director-General/CEO, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) is Dr. Muhammed Bulama, just as the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has Mr. Charles Ebuebu as its Director-General/CEO , while the Voice of Nigeria (VON) has Mr. Jibrin Baba Ndace as itsDirector-General/CEO.
The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) has Dr. Lekan Fadolapo as its Director-General/CEO News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has Mr. Ali Muhammed Ali as its Managing Director/CEO and Nigerian Press Council (NPC) has Mr. Dili Ezughah as its Executive Secretary/CEO.
“The President tasks the newly entrusted leadership in these important sub-sectors to innovate and create new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage upon through the effective reform of these key institutions of government which function to unify our people, reshape mindsets, and showcase this great nation to the rest of the world,” Ngelale said.
