Super Falcons’ strike, Asisat Oshoala says his father was not happy with the way she celebrated when she scored Nigeria’s third goal against Australia in the ongoing Women’s World Cup.
Oshoala came from the bench to score Nigeria’s third goal and she pulled off her shirt, exposing the top of her body to the world to see.
Except for her brace, her bra, she would have been completely topless.
There have been mixed reactions over her removal her jersey to celebrate, with some condemning her action, including her father.
Oshoala posted photos of the glorious moment she scored the third goal for his country on her Instagram page and wrote: “My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration but then again, Life is a collection of MOMENTS.”
An Instagram user, Olajide Sunday Ayodeji wrote: “I am always happy when people are happy but we must be careful when we celebrate because some are looking for our carless moment and mistake during celebration.
“You have always known the rule that it’s a 🟡 for that choice of celebration; this I pray will not have a repercussions in the course of the tournament.
“If you get more 🟡 s it may lead to missing a crucial match. So, we have to be very careful. Who says Falcons can not get to the final of this show..”
Lilianesoroo added: “Hahaha. We Love you, and we are all proud of you and the team. We will beg daddy no worry.”
