Gospel singer and movie actor, Joshua Mike-Bamiloye has set the internet on fire for saying that no genuine Christian will participate in concerts staged by Davido, Wizkid, Rema and others.
He considered those concerts worldly and should not be attended by genuine Christians.
Joshua Mike-Bamiloye is the son of founder of Mount Zion Drama Ministries, Mike Bamiloye.
Joshua took to his Twitter handle on Monday to say “Honestly, if you consider yourself a genuine Christian, it’s not appropriate to participate in shows or concerts by secular artists like Davido, Wizkid, Rema etc
“Some might argue against this view, but those who are guided by the Holy Spirit understand where to set boundaries.”
Reacting to this, a Twitter user, Nnamdi said “In other words the “Mount Zion Faith Ministries” owned by your folks (presumably) will return any title or offering from the above artists and their associates? Or your version of Christendom only forbids their art and accepts their largesse.”
Opeoluwa Damilola added: “Many times we need to take our fight against the Babelian spirit seriously. The urge to make a name for ourselves. It’s harder than we admit, we can only ask for grace.”
Timothy said “The Nigerian version of Christianity is a case study🤣😂.They agree with the Bible when the promise is sweet and ignore the other part that has conditions.😂🤣.”

A Twitter user by the name, Christ is coming soon, said “Clearly the absence of the Holy Spirit is the reason those believers go for such show “unbelieving believers” “having the form of Godliness but denying the power thereof” Ephesians 1:17-19 is my prayers for them till all about them becomes Christ.”
Ayandele Emmanuel wrote: “You are very correct my brother but it is always a pain in my heart when I see a committed church worker even Ministers that still doesn’t see that as worldliness which the bible strictly speaks against. James 4:4b, 1st John 2:15, 2nd Corinthians 6:14-17.”
