Nigeria’s president, Bola Tinubu has vowed to remain steadfast in upholding and honouring the principles of the rule of law.
The president, in a tweet on Thursday said democracy is about the rule of law and that a vibrant judiciary could be trusted to deliver justice and strengthen institutions.
Tinubu added that he remained steadfast in cherishing the independence of the nation’s judiciary.
According to him, he would remain steadfast in supporting law enforcement agencies to conduct their duties within their constitutionally defined framework.
He wrote: “President Bola Tinubu remains steadfast in upholding and honoring the principles of constitutional law, cherishing the independence of our judiciary, and supporting law enforcement agencies to conduct their duties within their constitutionally defined framework.”
