He was received on behalf of the Royal Family by Mark Bevan, Deputy Lieutenant of Essex, as well as Nigeria’s acting High Commissioner Ambassador Mohammed Maidugu and other senior officials.
A delegation of senators, governors and ministers was on hand to welcome the President to his hotel in the British capital.
President Tinubu and the First Lady will be hosted at Windsor Castle from Wednesday, March 18, to Thursday, March 19.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and the United Kingdom while exploring investment opportunities for businessmen from both nations.
The President is expected to hold discussions with King Charles and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during the visit, with several memoranda of understanding slated for signing.
